Supporting Environmental Work

Supporting Environmental Work

Author: Hugh Bollinger/Friday, April 1, 2016/Categories: wildlife conservation, birds, marine life, sustainability, environment, Archive Pick of the Week

During this month of April, twelve manufacturers within The Conservation Alliance, Riled Up's corporate partner, are participating a campaign to We Keep It Wild.

National brand-name outdoor companies including: Merrell; Ibex; Toad&Co; Kelty; Arc'teryx; Nau; Avex; STM Bags; Chaco; Backpacker's Pantry; Garmont, and Boco Gear. These participating businesses will donate a portion of their online sales to TCA. This support will allow continued efforts by the organization to protect natural landscapes and places everyone enjoys visiting. You can learn more about the April campaign here .

Also, bi-annual grants provided by The Conservation Alliance to local groups managing the projects were just announced. Nearly $800,000 was granted to 20 organizations across North America to continue their conservation work. The list of grantees and their projects is here .

We hope you will take the time to consider the participating outdoor manufacturers as you plan your travel, hiking, or camping gear needs. April aside, you can personally support The Conservation Alliance directly at any time during the year with a donation to their ongoing efforts by going to the banner-logo on our Riled Up website.
