Humpback Whales at Exmouth, Western Australia (credit: Wayne Osborn, The Whale Diaries)

It seems whales enjoy playing as much as other animals like to do. What was likely a young, bachelor male humpback  was observed by a drone swimming in shallow warm waters off the coast of Western Australia trying to interest a pod of local dolphins in a game of 'circle the leader'. The dolphins didn't seem too interested in the game but they didn't run away from the playful whale either.
