Poseidon, is the Greek god of oceans and protector of all sea creatures, horses, and the master of floods, droughts and earthquakes as well. He gets very upset when the oceans are abused as this poor chap learned: 

June 8th is designated as World Oceans Day to bring wider attention to marine environmental issues, wildlife preservation, and sustainability of the world's oceans. What did you do to contribute on World Oceans Day? Poseidon is watching.
