A first-ever 'drone's eye view' of Uluru was captured by an autonomous video drone operated under a permit in Uluru National Park. The sandstone structure, also known as Ayer's Rock, is one of Australia's most recognizeable symbols. Out of respect for the sacred importance and nature of singular rock to aboriginal Dreamtime stories, climbing on the monolith is not allowed. From the drone's vantage point, views of rock features never seen before became apparent.

Impressive views come to mind!
