Among his lifelong accomplishments Pete Seeger, the musician, was an active defender of rivers, harbors, and other natural places. He passed away leaving a history of music, social action, and support for environmental matters. A video was made shortly before he passed away with Seeger listening to a new song---Breakneck Ridge---celebrating the Hudson Highlands, the range of hills through which the Hudson River winds on its way from the Adirondacks to the Atlantic Ocean.
