Aurora Sequence

Author: Hugh Bollinger/Saturday, December 28, 2013/Categories: natural history, photography

Auroras have been particularly intense of late due to the increased numbers of solar flares. A sequence of auroras near Fairbanks, Alaska recently was especially impressive.

Using a fixed camera, the photographer captured a series of sequences over a half-hour period.
