New Skyline

Author: Guest Writer/Monday, June 25, 2012/Categories: Uncategorized

If Seattle were somehow transported to the newly discovered Kepler-36 system, the sky would be very different. Two newly discovered planets orbiting the Kepler start would appear in the night sky. They vary in size and composition---one is molten and rocky while the other is large and gaseous---but have similar paths around their close-by solar host.

The night sky would be an impressive sight.
