Whales are known for being curious. A crew of marine investigators in the Gulf of Mexico were using a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) at a depth nearly 2000 feet deep. The researchers discovered just how curious when a sperm whale decided to check out what they were doing. The whale was determining what was seemed to be a competitor in his territory. You can hear the researcher's astonishment in the voices. There is no way to know what the whale was thinking.
