Mission Juno Approaches Jupiter (graphic credit: NASA)

With a bit of dramatic music, NASA produced an animation of the Juno probe approaching Jupiter. The probe is expected to arrive late on July the 4th. To quote the famous physicist, Richard Feynman (1918-1988):

“The stars are made of the same atoms as the earth.”  Poets say science takes away from the beauty of the stars—mere globs of gas atoms. The vastness of the heavens stretches my imagination. Far more marvelous is the truth than any artist of the past imagined. Why do the poets of the present not speak of it."
