Martin Litton was a life-long conservationist, a dedicated river runner and dory-boat builder who helped prevent dams from being built on the Colorado River inside Grand Canyon National Park. He passed away in 2014.

The writer and producer, Pete McBride, created a documentary on Litton with his new film, Martin's Boat. It is a fitting tribute to a conservationist as the era of mega-dam building is over and some rivers have now been restored by their removal. He would have approved:
