The Jet Propulsion Laboratory as well as the European Space Agency are planning to send separate robotic probes to explore Jupiter's moon Europa. New research indicates the global ocean beneath the moon's icy shell may have chemistry very similar to the oceans on Earth but contain ten times the volume of water here. When looking for life, even alien forms, the mantra remains"follow the water".
