Since New Horizon's 'close encounter' with Pluto in Summer 2015, data from the spacecraft keeps arriving of just how strange is the dwarf planet. New geologic and environmental analysis indicates mountains of water ice as hard as rock float on glaciers of frozen nitrogen ice. A short video explains:
