Information about Pluto composition captured in infrared wavelengths by the New Horizons probe continues being received. NASA has just released a technicolor video of measurements of the dwarf planet that would fit any festival light show:

According to the research team, the movie was recorded by probe's infrared imaging spectrometer during the July 14 closest approach of Pluto. The discovery of water ice was made using the IR data shown here
