The burning of tropical forests is a large contributor to global carbon pollution, perhaps producing more than 25% of CO2 emissions. Much of this burning occurs when forests are cleared in the Indonesia, Brazil, and Africa for agricultural and illegal timber purposes. Dr.Jane Goodall, and other international leaders addressed the current UN climate conference in Paris with a statement saying it is time to end this deforestation.
