Artists have focused attention on the environment and the natural world in myriad ways: writers have produced thoughtful books; photographers have captured stunning imagery; and filmmakers have created documentaries highlighting many environmental issues. Painters have added their input as well.

The British conceptual artist  John Wolseley  uses a personal and visceral approach in developing his paintings with a strong environmental ethic about our connections to the natural world. Here's the painter explaining his unusual approach to producing paintings with impact:
