Crater in Pink

Author: Guest Writer/Thursday, July 26, 2012/Categories: Uncategorized

It’s not often that you get a chance to view Oregon's Crater Lake bathed in a pink glow and surrounded by constellations too. A stunning image of pink auroras at was captured recently after a major solar flare hit the Earth’s upper atmosphere above Crater Lake. The major constellations were superimposed on the night sky star scene.
