"The Garden of Eden Is No More"

Sir David Attenborough, famous for his BBC series Planet Earth and numerous natural history films such as Blue Planet, says “the Garden of Eden is no more”. Attenborough made his comment in reference to climate change while accepting a special award at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Sir David was later interviewed by Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge who was also at the global forum. He expanded on his perspective for the potential for wide scale ecological disruption. "We are now so numerous, the mechanisms we have for destruction are so frightening, we can exterminate whole ecosystems without realizing... so we have to be careful." The full interview is here:
