Sounds of Space-Time Merging

The merger of two neutron stars was recorded by gravitational wave detectors and radio telescopes simultaneously. CalTech converted the spectrum of the light wavelengths into an audio file of what the stellar merger would have sounded like just as it happened 130 million years ago.
