Ian Player, the rhino man, 1927-2014

Author: Hugh Bollinger/Sunday, December 7, 2014/Categories: wildlife conservation, sustainability, environment, adventure

Player was a wildlife champion who helped create the International Wilderness Leadership Foundation ( WILD ), and the World Wilderness Congress inaugurated in 1977. The South African, with the legendary family name, had a particular love for the white rhinoceros.
