Eclipse with Birds

Author: Hugh Bollinger/Friday, May 2, 2014/Categories: natural history, photography

Solar eclipses are very cool even when the the Sun is only partially covered.

A partial eclipse occurred recently near Adelaide with seabirds casually flying past the late afternoon event. You would have needed to be in Antarctica to see the solar disc covered in totality.
