Earthrise Reminder

Author: Hugh Bollinger/Sunday, October 14, 2018/Categories: natural history, photography, video, sustainability, environment

Earthrise remains one of the most famous photographs ever taken. Captured by the crew of Apollo 8 Mission in December 1968, it became an icon for sustainability and the fragility of life on Earth. The original photographic sequences have been digitally stitched together to reproduce the wonder of what the NASA astronauts Frank Borman, James Lovell Jr., and William Anders saw as the circled the moon.

An environmental reminder of this fragile, "pale blue dot".
