Sea Change: The Pacific Ocean's Perilous Turn

Author: Hugh Bollinger/Monday, October 21, 2013/Categories: video, sustainability, environment, climate change

In the 1960's, one mantra was: think globally. act locally. The phrase was applied to education, town planning, architecture, and environmental understanding.

The writer, Craig Welsh, presents its dual imperatives in his recent essay on ocean acidification and sustainability for the Seattle Times entitled: Sea Change. The multimedia piece is lengthy but certainly worth a read. An accompanying video narration is here:

Think globally, act locally really needs to be taken more to heart.
